Combination Star

Combination Star, 9"

Here's one I did waaaay back in January because the red and pink combo worked with Cherry Cordial.

This was my favorite Valentine block in the B-a-D series. It's also been used in Cherry Cordial.

Log Cabin Heart

Log Cabin Heart, 4.5"

A sweet little filler block. This must be the quickest one so far this year, only 7 pieces. It would be easy to resize. I used several of these in my Cherry Cordial top.

Best Friend

Best Friend, 14"

Another large block, and another one that's oh-so-similar to Bear Paw. I guess the chain 4p in the center of the "paw" makes it different.

I've already put this block to use in Cherry Cordial.

Crazy Anne

Crazy Anne, 10"

I didn't like doing those irregular triangle parts that require templates. Or maybe it's that I don't do them very well -- the Half Rectangle sections had a hard time squaring up.

This block has been used in Cherry Cordial.

Beginner's Delight

Beginner's Delight, 10"

This one went together nicely. I've already put it to use in Cherry Cordial, my Valentine quilt.

Chimney Sweep

Chimney Sweep, 10.5"

Well, this one finishes to an odd size -- but I'll be using sashing strips to bring it up to a plays well with others twelve inches. And another new color combo today: there will be enough blocks in this "raspberry truffle-ish" group to create a nice little February/Valentine wallhanging.
