Spool of Thread, 8"This block, and tomorrow's, will be combined with some parts from a UFO row-by-row project that's been aging for years in my collection. They'll become a nice sewing-themed wallhanging for my workroom. I've always liked this yellow background fabric with the teeny spools and thimbles. It's probably circa 2003 or thereabouts.
Last year, after I pieced these same sewing blocks, I created a different sewing-themed top from yet another group of UFO parts. Once I complete this latest one, my 'sewing novelties' bundle will be just about consumed, finally!!
